 Chiropractic Care

As chiropractors we evaluate, diagnose and treat conditions that are related to the musculoskeletal and nervous
systems. Though our focus in treatment is primarily on improving joint function in the spine, we are
passionate about treating the body as a whole in order to maintain optimal function. We use a hands-on
approach with a collection of evidence-based non-surgical and non-pharmaceutical methods to improve overall
health and quality of life. You can expect us to utilize various techniques such as chiropractic spinal
manipulative therapy, soft tissue manipulation, at-home exercise routines and nutritional advice to achieve
treatment and maintenance goals.

We create personalized care plans that aim to transition our patients from passive care (in-office chiropractic care)
to active care (at home exercise). Our patients play a critical role in their own care. Our at-home exercise
programs are designed to stabilize the spine by improving overall strength, slowing the process of degenerative
changes and therefore, reducing the frequency of future exacerbations.

Our welcoming and caring environment and exceptional staff ensure that our
patients are confident that they are receiving the very best care.

Modalities Used

Electric Stimulation

Electric Stimulation or “E-Stim” therapy is a treatment modality that uses a gentle electric current to decrease inflammation, treat muscle spasms and decrease pain. E-Stim can also be used to prevent muscle atrophy following injury by stimulating muscle contraction.

Cold Laser

Cold Laser therapy utilizes a low level infra-red light that the body absorbs to heal damaged tissue at a cellular level. Cold laser can help treat symptoms associated with ligament sprains, muscle strains, tendonitis, bursitis and inflammation.

Cupping

Cupping uses hard plastic cups that create a vacuum effect that draws skin, fascial tissue and blood to the surface. The benefits of cupping include: increased blood circulation, release of fascial adhesions, promotion of mobility and reduced muscle tension. Cupping may be used statically or dynamically to increase range of motion and reduce pain.

Corrective Exercise and Rehabilitation

Specific and individually curated exercise and rehabilitation protocols are prescribed to address a patient’s needs and goals. Corrective exercises are given to strengthen and stretch muscles to retrain movement patterns. Proper movement patterns are essential to efficient biomechanics, which leads to less pain and fewer injuries.
